Kennedy Hall ‘Spitfire’ EP Release Show with Moe Reen and Talitha Boyd
Join us for an evening of the finest indie-folk music emerging from Columbus! On Saturday March 14th, we will celebrate the release of Kennedy Hall’s debut EP Spitfire, produced by local indie powerhouse studio Moonlight Audio. With confessional songwriting and a nod to the rising wave of alt-country, the EP Spitfire explores the pull of nostalgia alongside the angst, grit and determination to move forward.
Hall will be joined by rising folk legend Moe Reen, who released their debut album Scribbled Line in 2025 in conjunction with their appearance at Nelsonville music festival. Moe Reen is a country-folk songsmith who writes from the heart, for the heart. A lifelong vocalist, their old-school country voice often garners comparisons to Patsy Cline, Hank Williams, and other honky-tonk-heartbreak crooners of yesteryear. Moe’s witty lyrics, however, are distinctly modern.
Also supporting will be singer-songwriter Talitha Boyd, whose artistic style mixes unique folk themes with bedroom pop intimacy to create relatable and touching songs. Her distinct vocal tonality and vulnerable songwriting echo coming of age themes of nostalgia, heartbreak, and internal struggles.
